"I just wanted to thank you for the training and also let you know that you have ruined the next 5 hours of my life... I'm kidding. But no, seriously, now my brain is messed up. I'm here until 10 tonight and have a ton of consumer emails to answer. The problem is that I find myself conflicted, trying to answer these emails without wasting time but I can't because I am stuck on the question that keeps pounding in my head; "Why did this customer have to send an email in the first place" Why does any customer have to send an email. Sending an email is just a faster horse. What do we do to eliminate a large number (if not all) of consumer emails. I'm sitting here dreaming up online information centers with YouTube videos, images, and documents. These customers are already online sending an email, whey can't they click something to get the answer without working and waiting for it? Email is just the start of this madness... you can ask the same questions of phone calls and defective returns. The three make up most of what my department does all day, everyday.
Anyway, thanks for complicating the heck out of life. The training was incredibly beneficial, applicable in all areas of life, and obviously thought provoking. I look forward to more soon.
